Standards Development By virtue of its founding law, the MSA acts as the National Standards Body. It has the power to develop and publish Maltese Standards following international Standards writing practices. This work is carried out through Technical Committees. Standards Adoption - The MSA Act gives power to the Authority to adopt regional and international standards. Adoption follows internationally accepted practices. Standards Library - MSA has a standards library where the public can view any European (EN), International (ISO/IEC), Purely National (MSA) and BS standards. Library is open from Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 12:00pm. Tuesday and Thursday also in the afternoon between 2:00pm and 3:30pm.
