NATIONAL METROLOGY SERVICES - SERVICES The fields of operation are: Mass : Carries our mass standard calibration for the ranges : 1mg to 50kg at E2 level and 1tonne at M1. With its current capability of 30 Tonnes of calibrated mass standards, MSA-NMS can carry our weigh bridge verification up to 80 Tonnes. Dimension: Calibration of block gauges up to 100mm, using mechanical comparators, vernier callipers, micrometers and dial gauges. Temperature: Calibration of temperature sensors from -80°C to 550°C by means of liquid medium baths and fixed points. On site validation of cold rooms, freezers, mobile refrigerators, autoclaves, pasteurizers and incubators. Humidity : Calibration of humidity sensors from -10°C to 70°C form 10 % to 90% Calibration of transferable standards are carried out in our state of the art laboratories situated in the Kordin Business Incubation Centre. MSA-NMS has the capability of performing on site work for its customers in the area of large weighing system verification and the all temperature related calibration. |
